COC Gives Back With 8th Annual Book Festival [1]
College of the Canyons is hosting their 8th Annual Holiday Book Festival on Saturday, December 1 from 9 to 11 a.m.
The Festival is designed to help students enrolled in the Extended Opportunities Programs & Services, Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education and CalWORK. The event is a culmination of the EOPS/CARE and CalWORK department’s holiday book drive.
On Saturday, they will present children of the students with new books as well as treating them to a holiday-themed pancake breakfast and entertainment provided by strolling musicians and storytellers. All EOPS/CARE and CalWORK students, community supporters and their families are invited to attend.
