50 Shades Of Gray [1]

Many people shy away from gray paint color, for fear it will have a dark, depressing affect on the room. Did you know that gray could be so much more than a cold, dreary shade?
I love a brighter gray with a lot of white in it; it will look fantastic against your white crown and base molding and window casing.
Consider these three shades of gray for a bedroom or living room. Each of these colors has an underlying tone to inspire you to accessorize the room after painting.
- Benjamin Moore’s “Gray Cashmere” 2138-60, it has the slightest tint of green to it, so it will look great with any accents of green in your room accessories or art.
- Dunn Edward’s “Gray Wonder” DE6309, which has a soft undertone of greenish-blue. So many ways to accent this color, soft and bright, you’ll really love this one.
- Behr’s “Twilight Gray” 750E-2 is classic gray, which will look good with almost any color. To keep if from looking too drab, scatter accents of color in lamps, artwork and pillows.
Bring on the rainy, wintery weather; all three of these grays will create a light and airy feeling to your room, and more warmth than basic white.
