Highlands Elementary Sock Hop Carnival

Saugus School, Highlands Elementary, held its annual Spring Carnival on Saturday April 28, 2012, from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M.

The theme of this year's Carnival was the Fabulous 50s and the school campus was filled with attractions, food trucks, silent auction, vendors, music and other fun things to see and do.

An interesting addition was the presence of private vendors, selling goods from fashion to food. Food trucks: After School Special (with some of Mom’s finest food inspired by kids), Hungry Nomad, El Burger Luchador and Breezy Freeze. Ten percent of food truck proceeds go to the Highlands PFO.  The funds raised will directly benefit the students by way of such great programs as assemblies throughout the school year and the Accelerated Reader Program.
