City of Santa Clarita – Splash & Dash Egg Hunt 2012 [1]
City of Santa Clarita – Splash & Dash Egg Hunt 2012
When: Saturday, April 7 at 10am (both events)
Santa Clarita was filled with fun family Easter activities the whole weekend. After seeing two months long Lent preparation, as the 33rd annual St. Clare's Fish Fry [3]event, Easter brought more opportunities for families to spend fun time together and as a community.
The Splash and Dash Egg Hunt was one of the two city-wide egg hunt events organized by the City of Santa Clarita. The traditional egg hunt, "Eggstravaganza" took place at the same time, at the Central Park.
The Splash and Dash Egg Hunt was held at the Aquatic Center and all the children age 0-10 were invited to hunt for eggs... in the water. The Easter Bunny was around to meet the children.
After the Splash, the kids continued to play in the heated Waterslide Pool for half an hour, under the watchful supervision of their parents, lifeguards and City volunteers.

The eggs were carried to the top of the water slide. |
The eggs arrived in force at the base of the waterslide, and so did the children. |
