The City of Santa Clarita WorkSource Center is hosting a recruitment event at 10 a.m. Friday for job seekers interested in part-time positions as restaurant team members and cooks at the new Santa Clarita Valley FatBurger.
The recruitment event will be held at the Goodwill Job Services Center, located at 20655 Soledad Canyon Road, Unit 25.
Ideal candidates for the cook positions must possess the following: previous experience as a cook; great attitude, enthusiasm and energy; must be “serve safe” certified or willing to acquire certification; and must have a good understanding and knowledge of proper use and maintenance of all kitchen equipment.

Ideal candidates for the restaurant team member positions must: have customer service experience; cashier or point of sale experience; a positive attitude; must be willing to acquire food handling certification; and must be willing to wear a uniform.
Candidates for all recruited positions must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Jobseekers must arrive by 10:00 a.m. and should come dressed to impress, have multiple copies of their resume available (at least three), bring proof of right to work documents such as a valid Social Security Card, and be prepared for on-site interviews.
