2005 SCV Man & Woman of the Year Nominations [1]

Nominations for the 2005 Man & Woman of the Year were announced Thursday, March 10, at the home of last year’s Man & Woman of the Year, Don & Cheri Fleming, owners of Valencia Acura.

The Man and Woman of the Year are selected from a group of outstanding community volunteers. Its intention is to honor those individuals who have given outstanding volunteer service to the Santa Clarita Valley to more than one organization over a long period of time.

Nominees for the 2005 Man & Woman of the Year are, Dan Boaz, Gary Condie, Gary Cusumano, Dan Goetz, KHTS's Carl Goldman, Don Kimball, Tony Marincola, Ken Pulskamp, Lisa Boaz, KHTS's Jeri Seratti-Goldman, Peggy Edwards, Gloria Mercado-Fortine, Anna Ott, Theresa Stern and Linda Hafizi.

Volunteers are assessed according to the years of volunteer service, the impact of the service and service to multiple organizations. Voting is compiled from former Men and Women of the Year. Winners will be announced at a dinner at the Valencia Hyatt on Friday, May 6th. Don and Cheri Fleming will be Masters of Ceremony for the dinner. Tickets are $75.00, call (661) 252-2206.
