High Heel-A-Thon [1]

“Stomp Out Domestic and Dating Violence” With a mission to improve the lives of women and girls in our local communities and throughout the world, Soroptimist International of Greater SCV held a High-Heel-a-thon Sunday morning in historic old Newhall. The event was created to educate and spread a message that women have the right to live free from violence. Walkers gathered for a rally at Veteran’s Plaza and ended on Walnut Street with a large celebration.  There were vendors and live music along with food and socializing, and at the end of the day prizes were given out for the best shoes and to the best teams.

Even the men showed their spirit wearing high heels.
