On Thursday, December 9 at 10 a.m., the City of Santa Clarita is hosting a dedication to acknowledge the City's recently completed acquisition of 243 acres of the Rodda/Agua Dulce Partners property. The event location is accessible from the 14 Freeway North, exit Agua Dulce Canyon Road, turn right and drive towards the balloons at the event site. The community is asked to RSVP to 661-255-4939 to attend the dedication.
The City closed escrow on the Rodda/Agua Dulce Partners property on October 27, 2010. This property is contiguous to the existing City-owned open space Wagoner property, and completes another portion of a future "bridge" making connections to the Angeles National Forest.

“The Rodda purchase further enhances the protected eastern greenbelt and expands the City’s open space land,” said Mayor Laurene Weste.
