Two career fairs sponsored by College of the Canyons will offer job seekers the chance to explore new opportunities out in the employment world.
The first is set to be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 21 in the Student Center on COC's Valencia campus. The second is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 5 on the COC Canyon Country campus near the Carl A. Rasmussen amphitheater.
Both fairs are open to the public and are free to attend.
More than 50 employers are expected to be represented at the Valencia fair and more than 25 are planning on being at the Canyon Country location. Participants will be able to talk directly with those hiring for entry, middle and upper level positions, as well as explore the opportunities afforded with internships.
KHTS will be among the employers talking with participants; other companies include General Atomics Aeronotical Systems, Inc., ITT Aerospace, the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, SOS Entertainment and Santa Clarita WorkSource.
