The weather for the past week may have made some people think winter was over and we were well into spring with temperatures in the 70's.
It isn't time to get out the sunscreen just yet though, because The National Weather Service reports that a vigorous storm will be moving across Southern California this Friday and Saturday.
Among rain, the storm is also expected to bring snow and gusty winds. The National Weather Services also notes that thunderstorms could form as the storm develops. Up to one and a half inches of rain are expected in the foothills.
Residents should be vigilant if they live in recent burn areas as the rain will bring chances of mud slides. The next storm is expected in the middle of next week.
