Noltemeyer Recalled From Board By Summit Homeowners [1]

Tue, 06/30/2009 - 9:30pm  |  Carol Rock [2]

Homeowners in the Summit held a special election Monday night to determine whether board member Cam Noltemeyer would remain on the governing board of the homeowners association.

Noltemeyer, a community activist and former San Fernando City Council Member, had been the subject of a recall petition after an acrimonious six month stint on the board.

(Read about the original petition drive here [3]).

After achieving a quorum of 555 members, the ballots were examined and counted. Sixty-nine ballots were disqualified due to missing signatures; 284 voted yes, 157 voted no and 45 members abstained from voting, resulting in Noltemeyer being removed from the board.

The governing board currently includes David Gauney, Bill Reynolds, Jose Estrada and Lisa Robertiello. The election process for Noltemeyer's replacement will be discussed at the next regular meeting of the board.
