Alamo’s religious group practiced in Santa Clarita for many years.
Last Sunday, a FBI agents served two search warrants on the compound of religious extremist leader Tony Alamo in the town of Fouke Arkansas.
CNN is reporting that up to 100 agents were on the Arkansas property, trying to determine if any children have been abused physically or sexually.
The allegations are not new to Alamo, who was charged with child abuse in 1989 after a boy claims he was spanked with a wooden paddle until his buttocks bled in the group's Saugus compound. The charges were eventually dropped in 1995.
Alamo also served time in prison for tax related crimes.
