DUI Checkpoint Nets 2 Arrests [1]

Friday night, Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a
DUI checkpoint on Soledad Canyon Rd.
just east of Golden Oak Rd.

 

1,160 vehicles passed through the checkpoint, and two people
were arrested for driving under the influence.

 

Additionally, Sheriff’s officials report that 20 separate citations
were issued, and 11 cars were towed and impounded.

 

The DUI checkpoints are part of an ongoing effort by Santa Clarita
Sheriff’s deputies to help motivate motorists to never drive while they are
under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
