Poker Tournament To Help Kids With Cancer

College of the Canyons partners with Michael Hoefflin Foundation to host Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament Fundraiser.

On January 19th, you can play poker while giving a cancer patient a scholarship to College of the Canyons.  COC and the Michael Hoefflin Foundation will take the proceeds from the event and help the foundation’s cancer survivors and their families go to college.

There are 200 spots available, with a $150 registration fee.  The event begins at 2:00 p.m. at Diamond Jim's Casino, located on 118 20th Street West in the city of Rosamond.

And although everyone will help a child with cancer, and truly is a winner that night, the first place winner will also receive $5,000 in cash! There will be a complimentary buffet for all players.

Registration and Check in starts at 12:00 p.m., with the game beginning at 2:00 p.m..
