Arif Halaby joined by Jeff Girard come on the air this week broadcasting live from the Westfield Valencia Town Center where Stage 4 of the AMGEN California Tour Bike Race is located at.

The show is joined by small business owners based right here in the Santa Clarita Valley, who come on the show to discuss their experiences in opening, running, and prospering as a small local business.

Guest Nick Melonas comes on the air to talk about starting the business Green Convergence during the recent economic recession, and how they have gone on to not only double in size within the past year, but have gone on to be Santa Clarita’s number one solar panel installer.

The shows next guest is Jeff Settles, CEO of Tailored Republic, a company that sells custom designed suits. The young entrepreneur discusses his journey to success and the mindsets that kept him driven in creating his vision.

Arif Halaby emphasizes that seven out of ten people people don’t work in the field that they went to school for, but to not be discouraged in trying to achieve your goal of starting a business.
