Dr. Gene Dorio hosted the latest addition of the Senior Hour by himself, unfortunately without his wonderful co-host Barbara Cochran. Nevertheless, he had a powerfully informative show. Especially because his first guest was no other than the community leader: Arif Halaby – owner of Total Financial Solutions and host of his own radio show by the same name. Dr. Gene Dorio invited Arif to speak on many upcoming changes in health care policy which will inevitably affect seniors worldwide, including our valley, Santa Clarita. Dr. Dorio mentioned right away how he thanked everyone who came out to Scott Wilk’s seminar on the Affordable Care Act. This was a chance for everyone to get a basic understanding of one portion of new laws and changes in policy regarding health care. Arif went into the topic head-on and really dissected the truth of Obama’s new health care changes. For example, Arif Halaby described that while the Government is forcing the nation to accept the new health care plan, and working adamantly to explain how and why it is good for everyone in the UNited States – they themselves are excluded from subscribing to the same expensive laws. In other words, essentially making government members above the law.
