Wilk Weekly Update – July 24, 2013
Assemblyman Scott Wilk Talks On The Continuing Chloride Issue…
The Santa Clarita Sanitation District has put out an EIR where people can comment on what they think is the best way to resolve the chloride issue. I have been meeting with people and talking about the issue and solutions.
The Comment period is now closed. This means that they have to revue it and answer questions. Legally, action must be taken before the 31st of October.

Scott Wilk Attends Newhall Traffic Round-About Ground Breaking…
I went out to the ground breaking in Old Town Newhall, but I think there is more that we could do. We met with some business owners and they were excited about the business. Some years down the road when Disney Ranch opens up in Placerita, that will be 2800 jobs, and Newhall will play an important role in providing services.

Town Hall session About The Affordable Care Act Next Tuesday…
Town Hall Meetings will be held at the Sports Activity Center at 5:30 pm on the 30th of July. We will have Chuck Rosen coming, he is the previous President of the California Underwriters Association of Health. The purpose about this meeting is to teach individuals about what they need to know to navigate the new rules and regulations. So find out how this will affect your business and family.
