Towards the bottom of the hour, I will have Gregg Keller, Executive Director of American Conservative Union to talk about the CPAC and what to expect.

             I want to get to it, there is a lot of stuff going on.  Drunk or stoned on the Job.  If you are in New Mexico and you are drunk or stoned on the job, you can still get workmen’s compensation.  A city sanitation employee fell on the job and broke his hip.  Three hours after his injury, he had a blood alcohol level of .12%.  He is Illegally Drunk.  He went back to work drunk and falls of his trunk because he is too drunk to stay on it, and we have to pay for that.  This is just appalling to me, I just do not get it.  This is costing taxpayers a lot of money because he had a liquid lunch.  We will be right back after this break on your Hometown Station, AM 1220 KHTS.

            We were still dealing with the New Mexico issue.  Apparently being drunk or stoned is not self inflicted.  The legal limit for alcohol is .08 in New Mexico, and this man comes in to work at .12%.  The law is designed to prevent people from driving around drunk, and this man had been driving a garbage truck.  The bill how is stuck at natural.  This bill will stop people who injure themselves while being drunk at the job from getting compensation.  How many of you know if you have had too much to drink? Why is this an issue or a problem.  You go to work drunk you get hurt, you are on your own.
