            Welcome to another hour of sanity right here on The Real Side, not the right side, not the wrong side, but The Real Side.  I am your host Joe Messina, right here on your Hometown Station, AM 1220 KHTS.  It is a pleasure to have you with us.  Today is Faith Friday.  This is where I stay away from politics and talk about faith. 

            I have a question.  Do you believe the stories in the Bible?    Make sure you give me a call today because that is what we are talking about.  It is all about getting engaged in the issues.  So make sure you log onto the Real Side dot com and listen to all of the podcast’s, take the polls, and sign up for my news letters. 

            Can you be a follower of Scripture if you don’t believe it actually happened?  If you are a believer, do you think that the stories in the bible are real?  If you are a believer hop onto the chat room or give me a call, make sure you get involved in this conversation.

            Question from the chat room:  what do you think about republicans who are just now coming out saying that they are in favor of gay marriage?   If they are pro gay marriage, why are they just now coming out about it?  I think that a lot of these republicans who are not in favor of it are doing it because it is politically smart thing.  Say what you can live with, get in office, and get done what you need to get done. 

I think the question should be “when did you evolve to this?”, I think they are not being true to themselves.  Where were they a year ago?

              Bill O’Reily had on a couple who made a TV show about the Bible.  He stated that he believed that any of the stories in the Bible are real.  I am going to play the clip.  I think that when you believe in a Faith, you need to believe the whole or at least the fundamentals.
