Doug And Ed Discuss How To Fire An Employee…
Doug and Ed began their latest show delving into a philosophical debate regarding the issues of how to fire someone when they are going through a debilitating life experience. For example, one of Doug’s friend’s is weighing the options of politely and respectfully letting an employer go because the employee is struggling to complete his basic tasks at the workplace. However, Doug’s friend (the owner) knows that the reason his employee is failing, is due to a severely unusual and painful traumatic experience. This information shapes his perspective differently, and his hesitant as to what he should do next. These are the kinds of pressing questions and mental conundrums that business owners small and large alike may encounter when managing their careers.
Next John Douglas came on to talk about his shop, Happy Pets Veterinary Center and when and how to take your pe4ts to vet, or enhance their health, and so much more. There is a plethora of unspoken ethics and morals regarding pet health, and humans mostly don’t even consider them. The tips and tricks he shared are invaluable. For example, most people only take their pets to the Vet when they are sick. Well, John Douglas explained that just like humans, if you take your pet to the Vet on a regular basis for check ups, their chances of falling ill or catching something dangerous early on – are significantly better. They also brought on Jason Crawford who spoke about all the exciting new developments being constructed here in the Santa Clarita Valley.
