Doug Sutton and John Rogers took a deep breath before turning on the mics and hitting the airwaves this week on the Santa Clarita Valley Gazette Radio Hour, the radio digest version of Doug Sutton’s SCV Gazette and Free Classifieds. Granted John took a deep breath to make Doug feel more comfortable, Doug took a deep breath in order to maximize his anger for a tumultuously aggressive rant regarding the recent developments in American government. For example, Doug was especially grievous over the fact that WWII vets couldn’t visit their cherished and historic monuments because they “were not necessary governmental operations” and if that was not enough to rile up Doug’s mental patchwork, Doug Sutton had to let loose on another Obama-ism. The entire process of US government shutdown has affected more than just the vets, in fact, the Affordable Care Act AKA Obamacare, has forced Doug into reading a labyrinthian myriad of legal mumbo jumbo, in order to remotely have a basic understanding of the new healthcare laws. After John supported Doug through his painfully intense rant, they cooled down by talking to their regular yet tantalizingly fresh and informative guests: Miss Classifieds, Michelle AKA Miss Entertainment, Dante Acosta with politics, Ben Oakley with food reviews in the Santa Clarita Valley, and lastly Ron and Hans to talk sports - mainly Dodgers baseball and local high school football. By the last and final segment, Doug had lowered his blood temperature to a safe medium, and did not need any medical attention.
