Featuring Music from his CDs: It Sings In The Hi-Line, Sands Motel, Riding For The Brand

It’s All About Kerry Grombacher…

Direct from Louisiana, Kerry Grombacher calls in and we chat with him about – and play tracks from his three CDs: It Sings In The Hi-Line, Sands Motel, and Riding For The Brand. Kerry criss-crosses the West, averaging 35,000 miles a year, performing at folk and cowboy gatherings, festivals, libraries, and for private house concerts. He finds the landscape he travels through, the people he meets, and the regional history he explores the inspiration for his original music. His music is flavored by his experiences – whether it’s the Cajun influence of his home state Louisiana (Cajun Cowboy), the smoke filled skies above the John Day River (Along The John Day River), or the colors of Mardi Gras (Wild West Mambo) his unique music is unforgettable.

Bobbi’s Introduction:
“Kerry Grombacher writes contemporary western songs and plays guitar and mandolin. In the spirit of the troubadours of old, his songs paint vivid portraits and tell fascinating stories of working cowboys and old camp cooks, roadside motels and prisons, wild land firefighters, cattle rustlers and wolf trappers…”
