Host Crystal Lacy Edwards sits down with alternative practitioner, Dr. Thomas Polucki, and discusses Epigenetics, and Dr. Polucki’s steps toward leading a healthier life.
A bulk of the science for the last fifty years has been unraveling the genetic codes. Unfortunately, once we cracked it, the questions multiplied. Today on the show we will be talking about studying the genetic code.
“This particular gene may exhibit breast cancer in some people. Conventional science sees this marker and treats them as having it, even though they may or may not have it,” Dr. Polucki says, “Epigenetics focuses on why? Why do some people with the gene get the disease, while others with the same gene do not?”
The study leads to helping people finding out what they can do to optimize their life, regardless of their genetic predispositions.
“All behavior is an expression of your default programming.”
Dr. Polucki explains his five step program:
1. Posture
2. Breathing
3. Water
4. Food
5. Emotion
In respect to the first step of his program considering posture, Dr. Polucki explains, “90% of the brain’s potential is used up when it has to deal with poor posture.”
The slouched, depressed posture results in negative feedback to the brain.
