If you have someone in your family that is constantly asking those questions then you will keep listening because Myles McNamara talked about all things hearing.

 

To talk about this topic, Myles brought on experts from the Audiology field. Jennifer Ramos Sales and Marketing Director at Nola Aronson’s Advanced Audiology in Valencia, Nola Aronson Owner/Audiologist at Advanced Audiology in Valencia stopped by the show to talk about how they help people become themselves again.

 

“It is very important for people to understand that a hearing device is less conspicuous than a hearing problem,” said Nola Aronson. “People worry about their health, their teeth, but they don’t worry about their hearing and that needs to change.”

 

They also spoke about the change in technology with the hearing devices. There have been a ton of technological advances with hearing technology, be sure to listen to the whole podcast and hear all of the cool things.

 

Linda Davies Executive Director of the Domestic Violence Center in Santa Clarita also stopped by to talk about the program.

 

The Domestic Violence Center (DVC) of Santa Clarita Valley provides safety and support to victims of domestic violence while working to break the cycle of abuse. They primarily offer shelter, crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy, and activities to support increased economic opportunities for victims. They endeavor to increase community awareness about domestic violence issues and bring about societal change through education and public policy advocacy.

Kyle Jellings grew up in the Santa Clarita Valley and graduated from Canyon High School in 2004. Following his high school career he spent three years at College of the Canyons where he graduated with his Associate's Degree. Kyle then traveled to Utah where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Communication: Journalism emphasis from Utah Valley University. While in Utah, Kyle had the opportunity to do many different internships which included a Production Assistant at ESPN 700 and a Media Relations Assistant with the 2009 MLS Cup Champions Real Salt Lake. Kyle was married to his wife Paola in 2008 and they had their first child, Calvin, in August of 2010. When Kyle is not at KHTS he enjoys spending time with his family and being involved in sports in any way.
