On today’s show Wendy has on susan and patty to talk you about some ways to relieve your stress. Everyone deals with stress so Wendy cant “stress” enough how important it is to stay on top of it. Patty shows us some techniques to help relieve the stress, called EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). EFT is a form of counseling intervention that draws on various theories of alternative medicine including acupuncture, neuro-linguistic programming, energy medicine, and Thought Field Therapy (TFT). It is best known through Gary Craig’s EFT Handbook, published in the late 1990s, and related books and workshops by a variety of teachers. EFT and similar techniques are often discussed under the umbrella term “energy psychology”. Wendy also gets into meditation and how meditation can help with stress relief. Meditation is a practice in which an individual trains the mind or induces a mode of consciousness, either to realize some benefit or as an end in itself.
