Cary and Bob discuss marijuana, friend, or foe or both. It has morphed into a much stronger and medically specific drug. It is not much different than prescription medicine killing people now, and their legal. Legal or not legal, any drug can be abused by using in excess or using for a reason that is not a medical need. Increasing your need for drugs to keep you feeling “better” is the cycle that can be most difficult to break.

All drug use starts innocently.

Alcohol is one of only a few drugs that can kill you in the detox process.

There has been an increase in mental breaks and psychosis from people who test positive to only THC. AMA stated that 1 in 6 people who use marijuana become addicted and has been shown to reduce IQ. Any drug use by young adults can alter their abilities to learn and cope and integrate themselves into a functional society.

Many advocates of pot only see the positives of using marijuana, and many of the detractors only see the negatives. The truth is found somewhere in the middle and it’s really the way that the drug is used. Some people are able to stop the use of a drug, and some people can’t. That addiction is a key factor into spiraling into more dangerous drugs.
