Local TV Actor Arrested for Public Drunkenness
Local television actor Luis Armand Garcia, 20, was arrested last night at 6:50 p.m. after deputies responded to a call complaining about a loud party in Valencia’s Westridge community.
When deputies arrived at his home on the 26000 block of Alder Ct. in Valencia, they “determined that suspect Garcia was drunk in public and arrested him without incident,” according to a statement issued by Lt. Eric Lasko of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Garcia is best known for his role as Max Lopez on the ABC television sitcom George Lopez, which ran between 2002 and 2007. He has also made appearances on the shows ER, Any Day Now and Freddie, as well as starring in national commercials for companies such as Chevrolet.
