Residents may see smoke and fire and should not be alarmed. The amount of live fire is minimal and numerous firefighting personnel and equipment are on scene along with air support on standby.

The Annual Spring Drills provide firefighters an opportunity to reinforce wildland firefighting skills, incident communication, and use of equipment and tools.

As always weather conditions are monitored on a daily basis, and if conditions are not favorable, drills will be cancelled.
