Michael Hofflin Foundation 2nd Annual Walk for Kids with Cancer, on March 24, 2012

On a foggy Saturday morning, hundreds of people gathered to College of the Canyons, Valencia campus, for the 2nd annual Walk for Kids with Cancer. Event organized by the Michael Hofflin Foundation, it featured a 5K walk around the campus, a continental breakfast, great raffles, games for children of all ages... and quality family time.
Opening and closing ceremonies included the recognition of the donors, volunteers and founders of the Michael Hofflin Foundation, California Rangers flag entrance.
The families that have been affected by childhood cancer started the Walk, not before a baloon was released in the morning sky, by each family that lost a child to this terrible desease. "Until a cure is found" is the motor that drives all the efforts made by numerous volunteers, sponsors and participants.
The "families of the foundation", as they were referred to during the event, were wearing blue shirts and the supporting participants received white shirts. All were featuring an original drawing done by Abby, 11 years old, the winner of the Foundation's contest.
A fun day for the whole family, filled with compassion, children's laughter and an immense feeling of unity. For more information or to support this great cause, click here.
