UPDATED 11:12 p.m. Friday

Two men are in custody after allegedly robbing the AT&T store in the Lowe's shopping center at Bouquet Canyon Road and Newhall Ranch Road. The men were arrested in the Crenshaw area of Los Angeles; deputies working with LAPD have arrested the suspects and recovered property stolen during the Friday evening robbery as well a stolen vehicles.

Two black males armed with handguns reportedly robbed the store at 8:42 p.m. and stole an unknown number of electronic devices, including several iPads and iPhones. They also stole the entire computer tower that contains the store’s surveillance video.

The pair fled in a white Chevy Malibu that was reported stolen Thursday. The vehicle has been recovered in front of the Valencia Hyatt and was impounded shortly after 10 p.m.

Two men matching the suspects’ descriptions were seen entering the Hyatt hotel soon after the theft. Approximately two dozen heavily armed deputies conducted a search of the hotel.

"We were told the men might have a room at the hotel," said Sgt. Brian Allen of the Santa Clarita Valley sheriff's station.

Adding a layer of confusion to the incident is the fact that one of the stolen phone devices is equipped with GPS and was pinging from a location in Los Angeles at 10:15 p.m. Allen said the men must have had another vehicle, as they were tracked to the Crenshaw area of Los Angeles.

"We were able to pick up some leads and found where the men had gone and surrounded the area," he said. Allen confirmed that the two men were in custody.

Their identities were not immediately available. No store employees were injured in the robbery.
