On Monday, March 12, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., college application specialist Peggy Stabile will host College 101: The Search Begins.  The workshop provides an overview of the California State University and University of California school systems, application requirements, as well as the pros and cons of private versus public higher education.  Drawing from her experiences as a college counselor, Stabile will help navigate high school students and their parents through the complex university application system.

On Monday, March 19, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Kaplan, the nationwide testing center, will host “ACT vs. SAT: What Test Should I Take.” This introductory workshop will help students distinguish between the SAT and ACT, and how to best prepare for each type of test.
