UPDATED: Freeway Traffic Resumes Normal Pace, Fires Out

All lanes of the 14 freeway have reopened in both directions after closures of southbound lanes at Placerita Canyon and northbound lanes at Agua Dulce Canyon Road due to brush fires.

Los Angeles County Fire officials report that both fires were contained to a quarter acre each; the Agua Dulce Canyon Road fire was knocked down first, quickly followed by the Placerita Canyon fire. No cause has been determined for either fire.

No one was injured and no structure were damaged in either fire.
