February 21 2012: Kings Lose To Coyotes In A Shootout 5-4

It was a heart breaking loss for the Kings as they fell against the Phoenix Coyotes Tuesday night in a shootout. The Kings came out swinging as they scored three goals in the first period. In the second period, Justin Williams scored a goal to put the Kings up by four goals but the Coyotes can back with their gritty style of hockey and scored three goals to come within one point of the Kings. The Coyotes scored one goal in the third period to tie the game and force overtime. As the game went into a shootout, the Kings could not out score the Coyotes and fall to the Coyotes in the shootout. The final score was 5-4.
