McCarty’s storytelling style is best described as energetic and engaging, as he often seeks audience participation to illustrate his tales and sagas.

“The Santa Clarita Public Library provides engaging and unique programming, like this storytelling event, to promote literacy and early childhood education.  McCarty is uniquely talented in sharing stories of international cultures and lifestyles with children, providing an untraditional and fun way of fulfilling the Library’s goal of fostering a life-long love of learning,” says Mayor Laurie Ender.
