SCV Magic Soccer Club

nonprofit

On December 12th, 2011, KHTS was pleased to welcome SCV Magic Soccer Club to the KHTS Community Resource Station. We featured this organization on the KHTS Non-Profit Spotlight - hosted by Janice Murray . The KHTS Non-Profit Spotlight airs Mondays at 10am on AM-1220 KHTS.

Located in the beautiful Santa Clarita Valley, the Santa Clarita Valley Soccer Club (SCVSC) is twenty one (21) teams strong. Our Boys and Girls teams compete in the Coast Soccer League. Our team practices, Goalkeeper training and Skills Training Program are held at Central Park and Heritage Park. The purpose for which Santa Clarita Valley Soccer Club (SCVSC) is organized is to promote and provide non-profit public educational soccer competition for youth, boys and girls, under nineteen (19) years of age, for the following reasons: To provide education in the rules and skills of soccer; to provide good, wholesome, competitive fun; to develop youth physically; to develop all around athletic skills; to develop good character and sportsmanship; to provide positive coaching to kids; to provide a service to the community through positive relationships with other organizations and to emphasize the spirit of the laws as well as the letter of the laws.

KHTS would like to thank Joni Shaffrey, Coach Sergio Salvadori, Cliff Penick, and Coach Joel Govea for stopping by the Community Resource Station.
