Foster Kids Enjoy Holiday Party at Magic Mountain

antonovich_holidayMore than 500 foster children, parents and caregivers from Los Angeles County enjoyed the 15th annual Holiday Party at Six Flags Magic Mountain Dec. 3, hosted by Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich and the county Fire Department.

Christmas music provided the sonic background as the special guests were greeted with food, presents, holiday cheer, and a free day inside the amusement park.

"The holiday season can be difficult for these children and this party brightens their spirits," Antonovich said. "But we really need families to adopt and provide loving homes for these wonderful children."

Other sponsors include AT&T, Newhall Farming, Edison and the county Fire Department, which collected the toys through its annual “Spark of Love” toy drive.
