VALENCIA—Henry Mayo’s community holiday tree will be decorated with more than 3,000 lights and hundreds of ornaments by hospital staff and volunteers with support from Andy Gump, Inc. employees. The media is invited to Henry Mayo’s community tree topping/decorating event where Santa Clarita’s Gold Star Families will be honored. When a family has lost an armed forces member, they become a Gold Star family. A representative of the families, accompanied by a member of the armed forces, will be placing the star on top of the community tree.
