Deputies Arrest Man Wanted For Spousal Abuse On Possible Burglary Call
Deputies were busy Tuesday afternoon responding to a call reporting someone looking as if he was shaking doorknobs or breaking into homes.
Turns out the man actually had a friend in the neighborhood.
Also turns out that he had a $50,000 warrant for spousal abuse.
He’s a guest of the county now.

The action started about 1 p.m. when deputies went to the corner of Esteban and Sandalia Drives behind Granary Square in Valencia, where the man was reportedly “casing” houses for possible burglarizing.
Deputies quickly had him in custody. In the meantime, deputies checked nearby homes for signs of break-ins, but found nothing. The man told them he was visiting a friend in the neighborhood, a story that was verified.
Unfortunately, the outstanding warrant precluded any visiting he might have been doing. He was booked at the Santa Clarita Valley sheriff’s station, where he remains in custody.
