Walmart Parking Lot Yields Trio Up To No Good
Three people are in custody after being arrested shortly before 5 a.m. Monday for possession of stolen property and narcotics.
According to Sgt. Richard Nagler, deputies patrolling the parking lot of the Super Walmart on Carl Boyer Drive observed a couple acting strangely in a car parked in the lot.
The deputies were then flagged down by an employee of the store who told them that the people in question were frequently in the area they had taken items from the store before.

The deputies approached the vehicle and discovered that the male occupant was a parolee; a subsequent search of the vehicle revealed stolen property and narcotics. A female passenger was also discovered to have narcotics in her possession and the pair were detained.
Deputies also confirmed that there was one more person from their car who was in the store at the time of the arrest; when he walked out of the store, he was immediately detained and a bag inside the car that he admitted to being his was found to contain stolen property.
Nagler said that detectives have indicated that some of the trio’s victims have already been identified. The identity of those arrested was not revealed because of the ongoing nature of the narcotics investigation.
All three were transported to the Santa Clarita Valley station for booking, where they remain in custody.
