Movie Van Slides Down Ranch Road, Overturns

khts_ambulanceA van carrying cast and crew members on a film shoot in Mystery Mesa rolled off the road and overturned Monday, injuring three passengers.

According to CHP Officer John Lutz, Nathan Hardcastle, 37, of Los Angeles, was driving a 2010 Ford 15-passenger van along a dirt trail on the movie ranch in Vasquez Canyon about 1 p.m.

As he descended the steep, winding, uneven road, Hardcastle lost control of the vehicle, which slid off the trail and overturned, landing on its roof.
