Antonovich Announces New Web Link For Flood Information

To provide information on storm recovery efforts, updates, bulletins and other information about closures, cleanup and repair efforts by County departments, a special link has been placed on the Department of Public Works’ CARE (Coordinated Agency Recovery Effort) website.

This should provide a quick and easy resource for Lake Los Angeles and Palmdale area residents impacted by recent storms and flooding, according to Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.

In the wake of last weekend’s storms, additional personnel and heavy equipment have been deployed by Public Works, many streets are being reopened as crews clear mud and debris, and water supply is being restored as pipelines are repaired.
