Go Behind The Lens At Cirque Du Soleil With The City
The City of Santa Clarita invites residents to enjoy an afternoon of entertainment with its excursion to IRIS by Cirque Du Soleil at the Kodak Theatre on Saturday, September 24, 2011.
IRIS takes the audience into the “world of cinema,” highlighting the evolution of the film industry from silent dramas to 3-D spectaculars. The show incorporates dance, acrobatics, live video and animation to celebrate the history and process of filmmaking.
With music produced by acclaimed composer, Danny Elfman, IRIS is touted as a breathtaking, theatrical adventure for the entire family. Los Angeles is host to IRIS’ world premiere, and through the City of Santa Clarita recreation program residents of the Santa Clarita Valley have a unique opportunity to enjoy the performance.
