Landings from Marina Del Rey to Long Beach continue to catch the usual assortment of sand bass, calico bass, sculpin, sheephead, ocean whitefish and of course rockfish.
Oxnard/Ventura Landings are also catching the same types of fish, with alot more quality rockfish. If you want to catch sand bass...The fishing has been terrific on the "Island Spirit" out of Ventura Sportfishing. Daily runs and Twilight trips have been averaging five sand bass per angler.
