Community Seminar To Focus On Heroin Problem
Tomorrow night, parents and others concerned about the growth of heroin use in the Santa Clarita Valley will be able to get the pure stuff - the truth.
Nine Santa Clarita Valley young adults have died from using heroin in the last two years – more than those killed in auto accidents.
Now is the time for this community to get informed and become aware of the problem.

The City is offering a wake-up call with a free seminar at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The seminar will feature presentations from those with personal experience with the drug and its effects – ex-addicts, parents of children who died using, drug counselors, health care givers, law enforcement - and will be held in the Activities Center of the city’s sports complex on Centre Pointe Parkway.
Those attending are encouraged to bring their questions to the experts available.
