O'Neal Still On Probation For Pitchess Drug Arrest, Charged With Drug And Gun Possession
Redmond O’Neal, the 26-year-old son of actor Ryan O'Neal and the late Farrah Fawcett, was charged today with felony possession of heroin and felon with a handgun, the District Attorney’s office announced.
O’Neal, who is on probation in a 2009 Santa Clarita case, is scheduled to be arraigned at the Airport Superior Court, Department 144, after 1:30 p.m.

O’Neal was arrested Tuesday following a traffic stop by Santa Monica police. Police allegedly found heroin in his vehicle. After they executed a search warrant at his apartment, police also allegedly found a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun in his apartment.
If convicted, he faces up to three years, eight months in prison. A probation hearing on his prior felony conviction for possessing heroin while in Pitchess Detention Center has not been set.
