It is a great week for US womens' soccer.
Only two home games remain for the Santa Clarita Blue Heat womens’ soccer team as they face off against the Los Angeles Strikers tonight at 7 p.m. at Canyon High School.
The team has partnered with a local community organization and admission for the game is free for those who bring four boxes of macaroni and cheese as a donation to the Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry
Today’s game boasts top-level play by college elite and international stars as the two teams each compete for another win.

Food will also be available for purchase from concession stands at the event.
Autographs will also be available for signing at today’s game for those who come out and cheer on our local Santa Clarita team.
The team’s last home game will be held on Sunday as they compete with the Pali Blues, and if the team achieves a win in either of these last two games they will be guaranteed a spot in the Western Conference Playoffs.
