Armed Forces Day Festival
To honor the local military and veteran organizations, Santa Clarita celebrated Armed Forces Day with a festival at Hart Park. With live music in the background, there was a barbecue, a putting green for adults and an obstacle course for the younger attendees. Military equipment, including LAVs, trucks, humvees, mobile ambulance and field radios could be found and approached. The atmosphere was festive and the aroma of barbecuing food wafted through the air. It was an event embraced by the community to show support and love for our troops throughout the day.
