Students Invited To Picture Transit Conservation
The City of Santa Clarita invites local middle school and high school students to participate in the second annual Santa Clarita Transit Go Green art contest. Open until June 1, the contest encourages local students to illustrate, through traditional art, graphic design or photography, how Santa Clarita Transit helps their family and the community.
This year’s theme is “Go Green and Dump the Pump!” Contestants are encouraged to tell us how they and their families are combating escalating gas prices through the use of City buses. Contest winners will be notified on Dump the Pump Day, June 16, and all winnind artwork will be displayed at the city’s Transit Maintenance Facility.
