Transit Center Community Workshop Set May 18

khts_citymatters_scvlogoThe City of Santa Clarita is hosting a community workshop on Wednesday, May 18 to gather community feedback on proposed improvements to the McBean Regional Transit Center (MRTC) Park-and-Ride.

The workshop will be held in the Century Room, Suite 150, at City Hall from 7-9 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

“For many who commute daily to work, utilizing public transportation is a safe and affordable alternative to avoid the stress and costs of driving,” said Mayor Marsha McLean. “To cope with the growing transit needs of our community, the proposed park-and-ride facility expansion project will increase access to local and regional transit routes and address parking capacity issues at existing park and ride areas.”
