Canyon Theatre Guild–“Little Women”
Celebrate Easter Sunday services at local community churches:
NorthPark Community Church
Senior Pastor Dave White welcomes the community to NorthPark Community Church for Good Friday services and then to celebrate the resurrection on Easter Sunday. Good Friday Services will be held at 6:00pm and 7:30pm. Easter Sunday services will be held at 8:00am, 9:00am, 10:30am and 12 Noon. NorthPark Community Church is located at 28310 Kelly Johnson Parkway near the intersection of Copperhill and Newhall Ranch Road. The Sanctuary – A Foursquare Church
Pastor Marty Walker invites the community to Easter Sunday services at The Sanctuary. Sunday services will be held at 9:00am and 11:00am in the Father’s House located in Building A at their location at 26444 Friendly Valley Parkway. The Sanctuary provides a safe place to grow spiritually.
Real Life Church
Lead Pastor Rusty George is pleased to invite your family to Real Life Church for Sunday Services. This weekend Real Life Church is offering eight services over three days. On Friday there will be services at 5:00pm and 7:00pm. Saturday services will be held at 5:00pm and 7:00pm. Their Easter Sunday services at 6:30am will be a Sunrise Service held at the Outdoor Amphitheater. The other Sunday services will be held at 8:30am, 10:00am and 11:30am. Real Life Church is located at 23841 Newhall Ranch Road, near McBean in Valencia. For kids, the church is holding “Camp Easter” with Easter egg hunts and a 30ft inflatable tree house. Church on the Way
Senior Pastors Douglas and Christa Andersen ask that you join them this Easter to discover the whole story. Their Easter Sunday services will be held at 8:00am, 9:30am and 11:30am. Church on the Way is located at 23415 Cinema Drive. In addition to Easter services, Church on the Way is holding a free BBQ on Saturday from 11am-4pm at Newhall Park. The BBQ will include games, a bounce house and a fantastic egg hunt. Church on the Way's mission is to be a congregation that exists for the purpose of loving God, serving people and changing lives.
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church
Pastor Tom Cizmar invites one and all to come worship with Prince of Peace Lutheran on Easter Sunday. There will be a special appearance by Robbie Robinson, music director of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. Easter Sunday service will be held at 10:00am at Castaic Middle School located at 28900 Hillcrest Parkway in Castaic. Prince of Peace celebrates the message of Easter all year long. Cal Arts–Wild Beast Series
The Cal Arts Wild Beast Series is back! Their first offering of the year will be Jazz Crossing. Their website describes the evening as “stirring salsa music and stories about passing through frontiers”. The Cal Arts’ Latin Jazz Ensemble will be led by composer-pianist David Roitstein, and actress-director Marissa Chibas will be offering her talents. The evening will be a “live transcontinental TeleConcert, connecting audience and performers in Valencia with those at Yamaha Artists Salon in New York”. The performance will link accomplished composer-pianists David Rosenbloom and J.B.Floyd and jazz musicians Scott Colley, bass and Ralph Alessi, trumpet. Jazz Crossing will start at 5:30pm Saturday evening. This outdoor music series is free to the community and offers afternoon/evening concerts on the lawn. California Institute of the Arts (Cal Arts) is located at 24700 McBean Parkway in Valencia.

Get your belly laughs ready! Comedy Stop brings Hollywood’s comedy world to Santa Clarita. Every second and fourth of the month, Comedy Stop presents a new comedy show. This week’s guests comedians are Mike Faverman, with his take no prisoners style, Aiko Tanaka, with her hilarious take as an Asian princess, David “Burger” Burger, with his streetwise flare that keeps you on the edge of your sea, and Joey Marmo, with humorous renditions of his “Mother and Father” and his take on life working in the suburbs. The shows are held every second and fourth Friday of each month. They are held inside Hacienda Don Cuco’s located at 27247 Camp Plenty near Soledad Canyon Road. The show Friday starts at 9:00pm. Come at 8:00pm to eat dinner or eat during the show. The show cost is $14.50 with a two drink minimum. Tickets can be purchased on-line. Canyon Theatre Guild–“Little Women”
You have one last chance to see that wonderful novel, Little Women, come to life on-stage at Canyon Theatre Guild. The play tells the story of the March family and how they manage life without the father of the family who is serving in the Civil War. Louisa May Alcott’s novel and movies based on the novel have entertained many generations, and this play will surely please your entire family. The last show will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday. Tickets are $10-$12 for juniors/seniors and $12-15 for adults.
